ARTIST FABIAN WILLIAMS NEW MULTIPLE CHOICE MURAL PROJECT AS A NFT

Fabian Williams, dubbed “Occasional Superstar,” is an Atlanta-based artist who uses his talent to create politically and socially relevant contemporary themes.

Fabian Williams has created a new mural to continue highlighting racial inequalities in professional football organizations in the United States. To raise awareness for their causes, Byron Allen and Brian Flores have been added to this mural alongside a kneeling Colin Kaepernick. Fabian concluded his statement by simply asking, “What Now?” to popular Tik Tok star Khabane Lame. The mural is in Los Angeles and was unveiled on February 13th, 2022.

Before the existence of NFTs (Non-fungible Tokens), an artist had to always have fear of their work being destroyed and their message being silenced. NFTs in the metaverse now allows you to have an immutable asset, meaning that the art lives forever.

Being a part of this collection has allowed the community to give back to the artist and be apart of history. It has given Fabian inspiration to continue innovating to produce a message that cannot be silenced.

Throughout history, wall owners have torn down, degraded, and in some cases completely removed murals and wall art. Fabian recognized that NFT technology would empower those murals and symbols to live on the blockchain in perpetuity.
